Formulated by a veterinary doctor specializing in nutrition, ENTOVET VETERINARY DIET - WEIGHT MANAGEMENT CHIEN satisfies the nutritional needs of overweight dogs of all breeds, while promoting weight loss with the right amount of protein, fat and fiber.
The fiber supplementation and moderate fat content help reduce the energy intake of the food. In addition, the addition of taurine directs the mobilization of fats, thus allowing the integrity of the dog's muscles during its progressive weight loss.
Obesity and the accumulation of intra-abdominal fatty tissue is a factor in urinary tract compression.
Sulphur amino acid supplementation, combined with a controlled mineral balance in the ration, slightly acidifies the urinary pH, helping to dissolve any urinary calculi that may form.
The recipe contains high levels of soluble and insoluble dietary fiber, mainly from psyllium, sorghum, inulin and apple pomace.
They offer a lasting satiety effect and contribute to better management of cholesterol and glycemia by retaining the absorption of a lipid and carbohydrate fraction.
The soluble fractions also improve transit, combat constipation, diarrhoea and intestinal inflammation, and contribute to the maintenance and positive orientation of the intestinal microbiota.
Essential fatty acids and antioxidants help combat joint inflammation by preserving cartilage structure and limiting cartilage degradation linked to excess weight. In addition to their anti-inflammatory properties, they help restore and preserve the skin barrier and coat, and support cardiac activity.
With an ⍵6/⍵3 ratio of 3.25 and a contribution of vitamins and antioxidants (Officinal Lemon Balm and polyphenols contained in apple pomace), the recipe helps limit the inflammatory and oxidative phenomena that overweight dogs can cause.

What's more, our recipes are formulated with a limited number of food allergens: no soy, wheat, egg, fish or dairy products.
